No, I don't think that is the point of this comic strip, the point is to reflect on the aggressive commercialization that one finds when pursuing knowledge, while trying to do good deeds and contribute to humanity!

I doubt that stork shaped Jordy character was on the verge of contributing to humanity, he was probably trying to figure out how to trick Nabisco into sending him free Keebler cookies!
