Apples and Orbifolds #40 An Absorbing Book - part 4
Commentary from the most important and leading critics of the science of Cartoonology:
So Ed got absored in the book? You know that spunky little first year
has always bugged me. Serves him right. DON'T READ DANGEROUS THINGS!
Like Pierre's O'Gobel's thesis. I should NOT have read that. You know
why? He scooped me! Solved my thesis problem that I'd been working on
for 5 years! You know what I've been doing the last 4 years? Trying to
get a new thesis problem!
So you're a 'stay in the cave', 'keep your head down' kind of guy eh?
I did not say that! I'm just saying, if a book has absorbed half the people
you know, walk on by.
Oh Scruffy, Scuffy, you need to be more adventurous! And by the way,
"Professor Pierre O'Gobel", now a scholar at Higgs/Princeton Institute,
has just published some interesting new work - it looks like it overlaps
a wee bit with that new thesis problem you've been putting together
What? No! NOO!
